In August 2009, the Company began operations at Newport City in Pasay City, the first integrated leisure and resort property in the Philippines Newport World Resorts or formerlyn known as (Resorts World Manila). The resort is owned and operated by Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc. (TIHGI), a joint venture between Alliance Global Group and Genting Hong Kong. This is the first integrated resort property in the Philippines that combines privately-operated gaming facilities with non-gaming features. The project occupying part of a former military camp, has hotels, casino gambling areas, a shopping mall, cinemas, restaurants, clubs and a theater. Resorts World Manila is the sister resort to Resorts World Genting in Malaysia and Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. It was the first integrated resort in Metro Manila, and from 2009 to 2013 it was the only one in operation until the opening of Solaire Resort & Casino in Entertainment City, Parañaque on March 16, 2013. The Company was awarded one of the first licenses issued by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation ("PAGCOR") in June 2008 to construct and operate integrated leisure and gaming facilities to an international standard with the goal of enhancing tourism in the Philippines.

In June 2017 ,there’s an incident were there’s a dozen of people died due to robbery that caused stampede. The casino temporarily suspended by PAGCOR. Weeks gone by and the suspension was lifted. However, in July 2022 Alliance Global renamed Resorts World Manila into “ Newport World Resort” .
